I feel my art coming through me…

The process of creating each and every one of these paintings has been such a journey. I endeavor to create art that reflects what I know to be a deep connection to the essence of life. I also care deeply that what I create is is visually beautiful. I find that there is so much modern abstract art that I cannot connect with at depth of meaning. Many of my figures are beguiling even to me! Still, their presence fills the space they are in with a calm connection to beauty, meaning, and life that I feel underpins the human experience. My art feels like it is often anchoring a space. In creating each of these works of art I am trying to not only uncover my own understanding of what it means to experience this universe, but also elevate all of human experience with a visual language to express the ineffable experience we are all blessed to find ourselves in.
